About HAF
- In line with the development program for Hockey, a section VIII company has been formed as ‘Hockey Ace Foundation’. This is a nonprofit organization.
- In 2016, Tata Trusts signed an MoU with Bovelander Hockey Academy led by the legendary drag-flicker Floris Jan Bovelander, to provide technical inputs for grassroots programme and Hockey Academy to be located in Jharkhand.
- Tata Trusts, Tata Steel, Bovelander Hockey Academy and Indian Steel and Wire Products Limited (A subsidiary of Tata Steel) have a collaborative arrangement for setting up a grass-root program and the operational of the Naval Tata Hockey Academy.
About NTHA JSR
- Upholding the corporate ethos of promoting sports and fostering community development, Tata Trusts and Tata Steel have joined hands to incorporate Hockey Ace foundation in 2017
- In keeping with the greater propensity for the game of Hockey in the states of Jharkhand and Odisha, the Naval Tata Hockey Academy (NTHA) was set up in Golmuri, Jamshedpur in 2017. The Academy has technical direction and training provided by the Bovelander Hockey Academy (BHA), Netherlands.
- The NTHA Academy is run by the “Hockey Ace Foundation” to ensure the vision of being the global-best through a constant focus on excellence in hockey
